I am an economist with an interest in policy relevant macroeconomic research. I have employed macroeconomic modelling to study the impact of different policy approaches, with a particular focus on environmental policies, and their economic, financial and ecological impacts.

Work Experience
January 2026 – present Independent Macroeconomic Researcher
Building on my research background in macroeconomics and modelling, I carry out research assignments for international institutions. Ongoing projects include the development and calibration of macroeconomic models, with associated capacity building, for Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (the central bank of the Philippines) and the Bank of Albania (the central bank of Albania); and modelling the macroeconomic effects of pandemics, in collaboration with Imperial College London and Ateneo de Manila University.

I undertook a PhD at SOAS, during which I developed an ecological macrofinancial model for the UK and presented my thesis titled “Assessing Climate Policies in the UK: A Macro-financial Modelling approach”.

Grade: Distinction. My master's dissertation received a mark of 80% and was published in the SOAS student working paper series.

Grade: First-class honours. In my final year I completed a master's project on modelling stochastic processes, achieving a mark of 85%; the work has since been incorporated into a publication of which I am a co-author.
